Managing your calendar (for hosts)
We recommend updating your calendar frequently to ensure that any times your spot is unavailable are reflected on your calendar.
You can update your calendar on our website by logging into your host account here. Once you log into your account, select the spot you want to edit the calendar for and select the calendar link from the spot edit page.
You can update your calendar through our app by logging into your account in the app, touching your account icon in the upper right corner, then scrolling down to select "Switch to host mode" and select the spot you would like to edit and finding your calendar from there.
Your calendar shows available times as white and non-available times as green. Reservations are shown as a non-available time. We also block 30 min on either side of reservations to ensure there is no overlap in dogs. IMPORTANT: we do not block time between reservations and blocks on your calendar, so if you are blocking time on your calendar and want a buffer, you need to add that buffer into your calendar block.
You can edit any white or green time that is in the future that is not a reservation. Reservations cannot be edited. Times in the past are shown as not available and cannot be edited.
To block a time on your calendar (to make it show as unavailable):
- Clicking or touch a white part of your calendar (if touching, hold your finger down for one second) - an editor will open and you can add a block to your calendar. Start time is when you are not available and end time is when you are available again.
- You can add a one time block or a repeating block if there is a specific time you are regularly not available.
You can remove blocks on your calendar by clicking on the block and pressing the delete button.
