How do I get paid?

How does payment get to my bank account?

We pay our hosts via direct deposit using our payment partner Stripe. You can set up your bank account for payouts here (note: it is difficult to set up Stripe from the mobile app, so we recommend using a browser and a laptop for the smoothest experience). Please reference our Stripe FAQ.
For hosts in supported countries, we currently do not support payments with no bank account.

Follow these simple steps:

Log into the app and go to the "My Earnings" section of your host profile.
Click on "Payout Setup" and start the setup process.
Enter "Sniffspot host" as your business name and use www.sniffspot.com for the business URL.
For the industry, you can choose "Other entertainment and recreation" if you're unsure.
Feel free to add your own phone number (this won’t be shared with any guests).
Accept the terms of service and complete the setup.

Sniffspot reports payouts to Stripe on the first business day of the month for the previous month's visits.
It may take up to 5 business days for your bank to process the payment from Stripe. Note: it sometimes takes longer for a first payout, up to two weeks.
Note: if you are checking your payouts tab in your host earnings account, payouts will only reflect there once the payouts have been processed
For hosts who have earnings from months where they did not have a payout method on file with Sniffspot, we review once per month around mid-month for any past month earnings that have not been paid to hosts. We will pay these past month earnings at that time. If a host joined before 2022 or is a non-US host, please email us if you have historical earnings due - our automated historical payout may not include you.

As a host, you can see all of your earnings in your account on your earnings page here. If you would like a detailed reporting of your earnings, you can email support@sniffspot.com and ask for it. Sniffspot operates on Pacific Standard Time, so monthly earnings are divided according to midnight Pacific Standard Time.

Note: All of our prices are in USD, and we do not support additional currencies at this time. If you are an international host, make sure to keep in mind when you set prices that you are setting them in USD. The prices on your spot will show in USD, and your guests will pay in USD. We hope to be able to support additional currencies in the future.
As an international host, we will send your payout in USD. Your payment provider will automatically convert the funds to your local currency based on the current exchange rate at the time of transfer.
