Sniffpass is available in multiple tiers. The more you buy, the more you save! You can see pricing for each and change tiers any time by accessing your subscription here.

Annual plans come with additional discounts! Receive all of your credits at once and use them throughout the year. Annual billing offers more flexibility for guests with usage that varies by season.

Sniffspot wants to help more dogs get more exercise and enrichment while also helping guests spend less! Most guests are required to have a valid Sniffpass to use Sniffspot. We made this change because we need to be able to grow sustainably, and that growth was not possible with the old model.

Here are some more details on how Sniffpass works:

• At the beginning of each subscription period, Sniffpass subscribers receive Sniffpass credits for the period upon each recurring billing. 
• These Sniffpass credits can be used to book Sniffspot visits, and may include a discounted rate that varies depending on your subscription tier and the decision of the Sniffspot host.
• Applicable Sniffpass discounts apply to all bookings whether made with Sniffpass credits or not.
• While credits should be used during the month they are purchased, active Sniffpass holders can roll-over their Sniffpass credits for up to 2 additional months. 
• Sniffspot hosts are allowed to opt in or out of offering Sniffpass discounts that may apply to some Sniffpass tiers.
• You can cancel your Sniffpass subscription through your online account. You must cancel at least one (1) day before the next-scheduled subscription renewal date to avoid being charged for the next Subscription Period (e.g., if renewal date is January 10, you must cancel by 11:59:59 pm PT on January 9).
• If you cancel your Sniffpass subscription, all unused Sniffpass credits that are available within your account will expire at the end of your current billing period.
• If you apply your credits to a reservation and then the reservation is refunded or cancelled, the applied credits will be added back to your account for future use.
• Sniffpass holders are subject to all Sniffspot terms.

Q: How do I know which spots offer additional Sniffpass discounts?

A: Spots that offer additional Sniffpass discounts include a green checkmark icon badge on their tile on the search page, and in the pricing section on the spot detail page it will say. You can also filter search results for Sniffpass discount to find spots offering additional discounts.

Q: Do Sniffpass discounts apply to extras or just to the booking?

A: When discount apply to a booking, all portions of the booking are discounted, including Extras.

Q: Do Sniffpass holders get access to special hours?

A: Sniffpass holders do not get access to special hours.

Q: Can I create multiple accounts to access the Sniffpass free trial?

A: No, creating multiple accounts to take advantage of the Sniffpass free trial is not allowed.

Q: Can I book without Sniffpass?

A: As of December 18, 2024, new guests will need an active Sniffpass subscription in order to make a reservation. New guests who are referred by a Sniffspot host may be excluded from this requirement. Guests who booked visits prior to the requirement will continue to be able to book without Sniffpass.

Q: Can I use a discounted or complimentary visit if Sniffpass is required to book?

A: Yes! If you have a new account, you will be required to sign up for Sniffpass first. Then, you can enter the discount code that was provided to you. We hope you will continue with us, but you can cancel any time.

Q: What happens when I upgrade to a higher Sniffpass tier?

A: You can upgrade and receive more Sniffpass credits any time! When you select “Upgrade Sniffpass,” you agree to be charged immediately for the full-month difference between tiers and then charged the full price of the new tier on the 1st of each billing period.

Q: What is the cancellation policy on Sniffpass?

A: Sniffpass holders can cancel renewal of their Sniffpass at any time. Sniffpass payments are in general non-refundable, but canceling renewal will cancel all future payments. You can cancel your Sniffpass subscription through your online account. You must cancel at least one (1) day before the next-scheduled subscription renewal date to avoid being charged for the next Subscription Period (e.g., if renewal date is January 10, you must cancel by 11:59:59 pm PT on January 9). Q: What if Sniffspot only works for me and my dog during certain seasons?

A: Dogs' needs don't pause. They need enrichment and exercise year-round! They even experience a type of cabin fever when they don’t get out enough. To beat the heat, some Sniffspots offer swimming, kiddie pools, or splash pads. To keep you warm, some hosts offer fire pits, hot drinks, or other creature comforts. Q: What if my dogs get plenty of exercise in their own yard, so only use Sniffspot when we travel?

A: Exercise is only one reason to book a Sniffspot! All dogs benefit from the socialization and enrichment that result from visiting new places and experiencing new sniff, sights, sounds, and other sensations. Sniffspot hosts are guests at other spots for this reason, and we encourage guests who only use Sniffspot when they travel to explore more spots near their homes for the same reason, too!
