Blocking a guest from booking

Sometimes hosts want to block a guest from booking at their property. Today we do not have a way to do this.

When considering blocking a guest, make sure you are complying with our Community Guidelines and Sniffspot Inclusion Policy

We would suggest a few things:

  • If the guest has already visited your spot, you can give the guest a low review score. Generally guests will not visit a property again after receiving a low review score. If guests get too many low review scores, we will review the guest and potentially remove them from the community. 
  • If the guest has violated our Community Guidelines and/or Sniffspot Inclusion Policy, you can report them to customer service and we will review the guest. If it is a severe or repeat offense, we will remove that guest from our community all together.
