Did not receive a notification

Sometimes hosts or guests do not receive a notification. Here is some troubleshooting to help you with how to handle not receiving various notifications:

  • Host
    • Emails
      • If you did not receive a booking email, do the following to troubleshoot:
        • You can access all booking information at your reservation page here
        • Check your spam folder
        • Add [email protected] to your contacts
        • If you don't see the email in your spam folder, contact your email provider to ask them to whitelist [email protected]
        • If you still are not receiving emails and they are not in your spam folder, consider changing your account email. Learn how to change your account email here.
      • If you did not receive a message notification email, do the following to troubleshoot:
        • You can access all messages at your message page here
        • Check your spam folder
        • Add [email protected] to your contacts
        • If you don't see the email in your spam folder, contact your email provider to ask them to whitelist [email protected]
        • If you still are not receiving emails and they are not in your spam folder, consider changing your account email. Learn how to change your account email here.
    • Text messages 
      • You can access all booking information at your reservation page here. You can access all of your message information here
      • Sometimes service providers block text messages and there is not much that can be done about it. This should be intermittent. 
      • If you still are not receiving text messages and they are not in your spam folder, consider changing your account phone. Learn how to change your account phone here.
  • Guest
      • If you did not receive a booking email, do the following to troubleshoot:
        • You can access all booking information at your visit page here
        • Check your spam folder
        • Add [email protected] to your contacts
        • If you don't see the email in your spam folder, contact your email provider to ask them to whitelist [email protected]
        • If you still are not receiving emails and they are not in your spam folder, consider changing your account email. Learn how to change your account email here.
