How does the calendar on a spot work? (for guests)

This is an article for guests to learn about calendars. If you are a host and want to manage your calendar, go here. 

You can view a calendar on each sniff spot from the sniff spot listing by clicking on the "Calendar" button. The calendar shows available times as white and non-available times as green. 

You can book any available time. 

You cannot book a non-available time. 

The calendar enforces 30 min buffers between bookings to prevent run-ins between dogs. This means that if, for instance, a guest booked for 9:30am for 1 hour, the calendar would show as blocked from 9am to 11am. Another guest could book ending at 9am or beginning at 11am.
